The Oldest Church of Christ in Montgomery, TX
The Rabon Chapel Church of Christ has been meeting on Rabon Chapel Road for more than 100 years! When the church building was first constructed in the late 1800s, it was a small wooden building with a hole cut in the center of the floor for a fire.
Since then several buildings have occupied the land on Rabon Chapel road where the church meets. We no longer have a fire pit, but the one thing that has remained the same all these years is our desire to love and serve God faithfully. We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God (2 Tim. 3:16), and it alone is sufficient to guide our decisions and direct us to live godly lives. Do you have questions about the church of Christ?
